It's a favorite for a lot of people for the same reason: it's just really good food. I always get the Plow Plate, which is two lemon ricotta pancakes with their house potatoes and your choice of meat (go with chicken apple sausage). They have some outdoor tables and bar seating, but overall it’s a pretty small place. On weekends, they open at 8:00am, but I always get there at 7:30, and I'm already the third person in line. So I'd say get there at 7:30 or earlier if you can—nobody wants to wait in line, but you'll be waiting for 30 minutes versus an hour and a half.
Bomb breakfast place. The rosemary potatoes are incredible. They don't take reservations. Be prepared to wait., it's worth it.
The most popular breakfast spot Potrero has, it doesn't matter when you're going to wait here. If that's your thing, it is a great breakfast
“My favorite place to go read a book, play a board game or drink some coffee in the sun outside. Potrero Hill is a cute neighborhood with nice stores and some good restaurants.”
“the original beloved french bistro in the city - try the mussels or steak frites”
“ Sister location to Piccino Cafe serving espresso drinks & housemade baked goods in sleek surrounds.”
“Healthy Pizza?Yes, sourdough crust rocks, and so does the gluten-free options. Outta this world veggie combos, they put together things, with sauces that are def California!!!”
“Aperto has been our neighborhood trattoria for more than 20 years for good reason. It's always good. Well priced, interesting daily menu, great fish, and great desserts. My favorite dish has never left the menu. It’s Tagliolini ‘Pepati,' a pasta dish with roasted tomatoes, bacon, and jalapeno. It's an unusual combination, but real comfort food. Great brunch too.”
