El Techo is a San Francisco rarity: a rooftop bar. I love coming here for chips, guacamole, and a pitcher of margaritas. You also get amazing views of the city, which is always a plus. There are lots of communal high tops, so it’s great for groups. The kitchen serves till 11 on Fridays and Saturdays. Choose a bunch of plates to share with the table since they’re small portions.
We love to come here in the afternoon for a drink and a bite. It was beautiful views of the city and nice music and environment.
Trendy place, rooftop bar... you've got to go if you want to be in an energetic location and meet people!
Great rooftop restaurant, vibrant dishes in a fusion cuisine of mexican and peruvian recipes. The ambiance is fun and I would recommend having dinner in this place after a full day of exploring outside. However, wait times on weekends tend to be longer, from 30 minutes to an hour.
Great rooftop bar with pretty good food. There can be a very long line at times though.
Rooftop bar with great views of the city and there's always a good crowd to mingle with and make new friends
one of my favorite rooftops in the city. make sure you are prepared for min 30 mins waiting in line.
One of the few places in San Francisco with a rooftop outdoor bar! Serves Mexican fare and strong drinks! Also serves a great weekend brunch. Be prepared to wait in line.
Go for the view of course. Try to be there before everyone else. There's often a line on the sidewalk to get in.
“Fireplace. Great jukebox. Susie, the owner. (Allows smoking indoors.) Can be a bit Hipster; but great neighborhood bar to get the feeling of what hanging out in your hood is like here is SF. CASH ONLY”
“Just a short walk up from the unit, San Francisco's second largest park space is a great place to hang out, search for mushrooms (yes, it is a mushroomer target spot), have a picnic, and even has a golf course within!”
“This little alley is a hidden gem. Many great restaurants from around the world with outdoor seating. Feels like a quick trip to Europe!”
“Tucked away inside this otherwise miserable bar is Ron's Pit Stop, where an old timer serves up AMAZING barbeque for ridiculously small sums of money. Order the food to go. You can call in your order by phone, or via Yelp.”
