Great place for a peaceful walk outdoors, or nice option for a bit of mountain biking (or road riding on trail next to mill creek) that's easy to get to & close to town.

Easy hikes, great views of the rolling hills, near the community college. Can rent a kayak or boat to paddle in the water but I would recommend staying on land...

With trails, picnic tables, several toy structures as well as volleyball and basketball courts, this is a great place to let the kids explore and run off some energy. Bring bug spray during the hot months and if you use the rural trails, check pets and loved ones for tics afterwards. They aren’t a problem in the landscaped areas but can increase in number in the tall grass, depending on the season.

Rooks Park and Bennington Lake. From certain points you can get a great view of the valley to the west. It's also a known reporting point for flight students landing at Walla Walla Regional Airport.
