Great place to hire bikes for a day cycling on the dedicated forest trails

BYOB or hire, choose from seriously fast electric bikes and mountain bike trails or take it easy around the family cycle trail. When you’re done, stop off for coffee and cake or a light lunch at Mallards Pike where you can even walk in the tree-tops at Go Ape or just picnic next to lake and traverse the Gruffalo Trail.

Three main waymarked trails start and finishes at the cycle centre: The Freeminers Trail,The Verderers Trail,and Family cycle trail.In addition to the waymarked trails there are seven or more excellent downhill trails.

Pedal A Bike Away is a great place to take in some of the local beauty spots, you can hire a bike and follow some of their various loops, do a few miles or up to 12 miles. Great for solo traveler’s or families and groups.

There are cycle trails through the forest for all abilities. You can book to be taken to the top of the down hill runs and you hire bikes from here.
