Horicon Marsh is the largest freshwater cattail marsh in the United States. Located in southeast Wisconsin, Horicon Marsh has been formally recognized as a Wetland of International Importance by the Ramsar Convention of the United Nations.

Nice for kayaking, canoeing, some hiking. Great for bird watching.

Horizon features several walking trails. Dogs are welcome so long as they are on a leash.

Largest freshwater cattail marsh in the US. Canoe/kayak the marsh or take a walk on the boardwalks surrounding the marsh. They do have a visitor center. Fun to see the geese when they are migrating.
