It's a good place for Korean noodles and dumplings as well as typical Korean dishes. A seperate building next to it is run as a bakery and cafe by the same family owner. Both food and bread taste very good. You need to take taxi or drive yourself for there is no public transportation from Bukchon Village.

성북동 언덕에 위치해 있는 '성북동 면옥집'은 가격대가 있는 편이지만, 맛도 서비스도 좋아 부모님을 모시고 가기 좋은 곳이에요. 대표메뉴인 갈비찜은 뼈와 함께 나오는데, 직원이 먹기 좋게 잘라주고 부드러운 살코기여서 이걸 싫어하는 사람은 없을거라고 장담해요! 꽤 높은 곳에 있어 택시를 이용하는 것을 추천드립니다.
