Drei Weiern is a beautiful spot near the city centre in St. Gallen. You can either go by foot, walking around 15 minutes up or with the public transportation. There are three little lakes in summer a lot of local people spend there free time there. You can swim, relax, mini golf, walk around, enjoy the nature and the view above the city and till lake Constance. And in winter when the snow is falling, it is really a winter paradise! At the restaurant there you get normally also a hot drink or you can also have a nice dinner or lunch there. It is a very good kitchen.

These three little lakes on the top of St. Gallen are definitely worth visiting. Especially on a warm sunny day, you can take a swim (for free!) in one the lakes and enjoy the panoramic views. You can see the lake of Konstanz, the whole city and if (big tip...) you walk a little bit higher and you will see the pre-alps when it's a cloud free day.

It's "the place to be" in St Gallen. Probably the most popular summer spot. It's great exercise climbing up there too ;) Best sunset/sunrise in SG too.
