Situated in the Padre Jesús district, the Fountain of the Eight Spouts is without doubt the best ornate fountain in the city, as well as being the only one from the city´s history that has survived until modern days.This 18th century stone fountain consists of two sections. The lower section has two sides, the first of which is the origin of the fountain’s name, featuring eight spouts emerging from panels decorated with rosettes which pour water into a basin below, while the second consists of a drinking trough. The upper section is a triangular pediment with a coat of arms at its centre, crowned with pyramids and a cross.

barrio tradicional de Ronda, imprescindible pasar por arco de Felipe V, eso si, unas buenas zapatillas, nada de tacones, ya que hay cuestas!!

La Fuente de los Ocho Caños, situada en la misma calle Real de la ciudad de Ronda, donde durante la época cristiana fue centro comercial de la ciudad hasta mediados del siglo XIX. Está realizada en piedra, con dos partes frontales, una con ocho caños situados en rosetas encuadradas para uso de cualquier persona, y la otra como abrevadero para animales. Se construyó durante el reinado de Felipe V, al mismo tiempo que la puerta que lleva su nombre. Cabe destacar que esta fuente, la única tan antigua que se conserva en Ronda, ha sido utilizada desde que se construyó.
