Excellent breakfasts! Long wait but worth it. Come hungry because portions are huge!
I always bring friends here who are visiting. You won't just be impressed with the potion sizes (be prepared to share!) but the quality and flavor are amazing! My new favorite is the biscuits and gravy.
Huge portions - perfect for sharing. Come hungry. Worth the wait. As seen on Man vs Food.
Quaint & popular. Delicious food. Brunch. Alcohol. Great coffee. Huge portions so plan to share.
Enjoy twisted farm food and crafted cocktails at the world famous Hash House A Go Go. They have been serving Midwest inspired food for over two decades. This is a must visit for the full Hash House experience. There's nothing else like it as the portion sizes are incredibly big.
“Great Breakfast and Brunch. You will have to wait at this location but it’s worth it. Mix and Match Benedict’s, Corned beef hash and famous pancake flavors. (Insider tip: download the app called “Nowait” it is blue with 3 lower case I’s on it. Snooze will allow you to add your name to the wait list ahead of time) the 45 minute to hour wait is more than worth it! ”
“Located in Hillcrest, or the 'gay-borhood', for a fun dive bar. There is nothing special about the bar but that it is connected to a delicious bakery. So if you feel like a beer and a freshly baked cupcake, this is your spot. ”
“The rooftop view overlooking the Downtown San Diego Skyline and watching the planes land in front of you is what this place is all about. Only a 5-10 min UBER ride from your Airbnb”

“Are you Vegan? Are you a carnivore who isn't apposed to trying something new delicious? Well, try Evolution! They have smoothies, sandwiches, burgers, burritos, and more! After your hike you'll probably want to cool off in a nice relaxing area. Why not get some lunch and enjoy the San Diego weather in Balboa Park! Evolution is the perfect place to grab a "Carne" Asada Burrito (a San Diego Classic) on the go, and walk across the street to a quiet park bench, or sit under a shady tree.”
