The Falls of Shin are a fabulous place to watch salmon migrate upstream to their spawning grounds in the hills of Sutherland. The recently opened visitor centre has a nice cafe with a play park for the children and a path that takes you down to the viewing platform to allow yoy to look for the leaping salmon from a safe area. Nice walks through the surrounding woods and a chance for the observant travellers to glimpse a Scottis Wild Cat.
