On your way to Henningsvær, Festvågtinden, is also a straight up from the ocean mountain that gives you fantastic view over Henningsvær and the rest of Lofoten islands.

Fastest hike for the best view around Henningsvær. The path is easy to find, but expect it to be steep. No need to climb, but if you are not used to hikes in Lofoten, you will feel it in your legs;)

Festvågtinden in Lofoten (541 m above sea level) Delicious, airy and easily accessible. Festvågtind is an excellent destination. Here, it goes up steeply from the first step. From the popular peak, you get a view of the fishing village of Henningsvær, and Lofotodden, which stretches boldly out into the sea. Festvågtind is located on Austvågøy's southernmost point, three kilometers north of the fishing village of Henningsvær in Lofoten. The trip starts at the big turn the car road takes right at Festvåg. A small path starts between the bushes in the road ditch and continues along the stone stairs and the wall of the old water reservoir. LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY Steep, windy ride. Info In Norwegian and English Fjelltur med magisk utsikt til Henningsvær. Super tur for de som er litt trent. Turen startet med noen hundre meter asfalt til stistarten. Stien starter i en enorm steinur der det er tegnet piler på steinene. Etter at den største steinura er gjennomført dreier stien mot Heiavatnet på 189 moh. Deretter fortsetter ruten opp mot Festvågstindens nordøstrygg på gress og lyng. Herfra er det en en liten spasertur til toppen. Turen er på 541 høydemeter er unnagjort på bare 1,3 kilometer etter sti og da skjønner man at det er bratt hele veien. Fra toppen kan man nyte en fantastisk utsikt og bildet med trigpunktet med Henningsvær er vel en av de hyppigst brukte bildene fra Lofoten på Instagram? En spektakulær topp som er veldig nær Henningsvær. Gir en utrolig utsikt mot Henningsvær, Gimsøy, Vågakallen og Vestfjorden. Tar fra 45 min - 1,5 timer opp og er 541 høydementer med relativt bratt stigning. En starter i svingen i Festvåg og stien starter ved en gammel forlatt grunnmur.
