Only two blocks away from the loft is Café Mogador, an East Village hotspot for years. A blend of Moroccan and Isreali food that’s reasonably priced, this café is a go to spot for reliable good eats that won’t empty your wallet.

In my view, this is a must do to experience the east village in New York city. It is a very hip borderline hippy gourmet farm to table Mediterranean cafe -- it is best for brunch or lunch. You must eat here once.
