It's the best pastrami i've ever had. I've had a lot of pastrami. This is the real deal. It's overpriced as hell, but everyone should know what pastrami is actually supposed to be.
Famous for it's pastrami, also a particular scene in the movie "When Harry Met Sally"
Probably the best Pastrami Sandwich you will ever find! When Sally meet Harry Movie place!
“Amazing NY Bagels! (Lox, Chive Cream Cheese, tomato, toasted on everything) soo good!”
“Great breakfast/brunch spot. Share the pancakes and order main courses. Ask for their homemade raspberry jam! ”
“While take-out from the 1914 original on East Houston is an unparalleled New York City experience, the new, wonderfully turned-out, old-world café is about a ten minute walk from the mothership. We heartily recommend the classic open-face sandwich, the super heebster nosh with wasabi roe, and matzo ball soup. Chocolate babka french toast, along with their potato pancakes, which are topped with Gaspe Nova smoked salmon and a sunny side up egg.”
“Dinner & Lounge - One of my favorite places Beauty & Essex, a grand 10,000 square foot restaurant, bar, & lounge in the heart of the lower east side. 146 Essex Street New York, NY 10002 There is also a parking lot on Essex between Houston and Stanton Streets ”
