Some 8 km east from the city of Hvar on the south shore of the island of Hvar is situated the picturesque cove Dubovica, with a spacious pebble beach, crystal clear sea and interesting underwater landscape. It offers a vacation far away from the city noise with a view of the countryside house of the Kasandrić family from the 18th / 19th century. Dubovica can be reached by boat or a car. On the main road there is small carpark, from It is a 10 minutes walk down to the beach. On the beach there is one bar and one restaurant. There is no sun bed or umbrella rental.

Some 4 km south from the city of Stari Grad on the south shore of the island of Hvar is situated the picturesque cove Dubovica, a well known picnic area with a spacious pebble beach and interesting underwater landscape. Renown for its long countryside tradition it offers a vacation far away from the city noise with a view of the countryside house of the Kasandrić family from the 18th / 19th century. Dubovica beach is one of my favorites. Crystal clear sea,beautiful large pebble beach with one Fisherman restaurant and Caffe bar " Duba ". From road you have to walk several minutes down the hill but it is worth!

One of the most beautiful beaches on the island. You need to park the car/scooter on the road and walk down to the beach, which takes 20-ish minutes. You can also take the bus, but make sure you check the bus schedule on the bus station for the way back.
