We had the seafood basket for two with a side of natural oysters. The food was fresh and very tasty. We arrived around 5.30pm and beat the crowd so our meal was ready in under 10 minutes. It was a beautiful evening so we sat out the back in the afternoon sun enjoying both our meal and the relaxed setting

That's the place to go to find out what the locals do. They go fishing! Crayfish and Flathead especially. A couple of the fish vendors have recently opened cafe-restaurants serving VERY fresh fish.

now found just next to the pharmacy in the centre of town, you’ll find the original best fish and chips of bicheno here on burgess st.
