While Minneapolis has many exceptional dining experiences - seriously - one of our favorite spots is David Fongs, a Chinese restaurant that opened in 1958 and has apparently not changed anything ever since. The food is mediocre, but the Mai Thais are strong and the Karaoke is everything you could hope for in a hometown bar. Karaoke is on Tuesdays & Thursdays, featuring the "Regulars" type of crowd who really get into it. Just have a drink, hang out and make sure to pick a song you know.
