Great place to enjoy a good pizza at anytime and is a 15 minute walk to the place. (Prices vary pizza starts at around £12)
Urban cafe with long wooden tables and exposed brick walls, serving specialist sourdough pizza.
I love Sodo's pizzas. The menu changes seasonally and their thin crust sourdough pizzas with delicious toppings are totally worth the schlepp up the road into Upper Clapton!
“Restored, bright joint serving local real ale and pub meals, with beer garden and ping-pong table. ”
“On Lower Clapton Road just before the roundabout. Popular, shabby chic large pub with beer garden. ”
“Excellent food shop with deli, choice of hot and cold food. 12- 15 min walk from the flat.”
“This street has a lot of lovely independent homeware and lifestyle shops (Triangle Store, In Residence, Everything But the Dog, Botany E5, London Borough of Jam). Worth a visit on market day, Sunday, ideally. ”
“This is a great pub for meeting local folks. It is also well known as a stopping place for boaters. This lovely old pub is situated where Lea Bridge Road meets the River Lea, welcoming commuters, travellers and lorries from Leyton, Walthamstow and beyond. A few years ago The Princess got a makeover and is a welcome respite from the frantic traffic of the nearby road. At the heart of the pub is a stove fire which is rare in London pubs now. There is a terrace facing the canal and picnic tables out by the towpath, making it an ideal summer watering hole. But don't take my word for it, come and enjoy for yourselves.”
