ふうらい堂

This place is a little bit of a mystery—sometimes it’s more of a gallery, other times it’s more of a shop. In one corner, they’ve got skateboard gear—it’s more cool, rare stuff made by artists that you can only get here. It’s kind of an intersection of skaters and street people and artists who all hang out and produce. It’s a little place in the underground shopping street off Asakusa Station. Officially, the hours are from 5 pm to around 11:30 pm, but occasionally there are times when they just don’t open up. In that case, you can at least enjoy the retro shopping arcade.
