Two boardwalks with great views of the New River Gorge and Bridge, historical and nature information, knowledgeable Rangers, area trail maps, and lots of good stuff!

Very nice Visitor's Center. You'll see license plates from all over the country here. Gift shop, informational movie, small museum, 2 rocking chairs with full length window view of the New River, restrooms, trail (mostly just steps... a lot) down to great view of New River Gorge Bridge. Park Rangers…

Great overview of history of the bridge and everything else. You can pick up an audio CD for a "guided driving tour" of the road down to the New River and the Fayette Station bridge. Nice (even if dated) movie to watch in the theater. Good for an introduction to the area or a rainy day outing.
