The Marktplatz is the centre of town and this square is full of old historic buildings and surrounded by restaurants and bars. It is lively on summer evenings where there is often live music or shows with a number of temporary bars and food stands set up. There are many small bars and clubs in the surrounding streets to suit all tastes. During the winter the Christmas markets set up here.
