Beautiful walk, great for wildlife. Nice pub nearby for a pub lunch or take a picnic. Requires a level of mobility. Drive there is very scenic.

The RSPB nature reserve at Gwenffrwd-dinas is a beautiful woodland walk, along by the river. Especially wonderful during the spring when you can see bluebells. The walk does get steep, but is worth every step.

The RSPB at Gwenffwrd-dinas has parking and a lovely 1.75 mile trail that is full of wildlife, raging rivers and gorgeous scenery. The trail can be rocky so is not pushchair or wheelchair accessible. It's also possible to visit Twm Sion Cati's caves along the trail (Welsh robin hood). Open throughout the year.

Walk through enchanting woodland, past the fast-flowing river Tywi. The Reserve is home to all manner of bird life including red kites, pied flycatchers, redstarts, common sandpipers, dippers and grey wagtails. Enjoy beautiful bluebell walks in the spring. Visit the cave of Twm Sion Cati - the Welsh Robin Hood.
