with the Roosevelt Square on it's doorsteps and next to 3 theaters, this is a nice bar to have a drink and meet locals. I don't really recommend eating here tho.

boteco just next to a newly refurbish square , where skateboarders enjoy the huge space. Police cars around , pretty safe.

A bohemian joint perfect for trying the extensive Cachaça list or to take a seat in the back behind the pool table, where the smell of African incense and marijuana mix with the aroma of dusty vinyls, books and dark Paulistânia beer.

Best bar in this area, this family bar used to be a 2nd hand store. Have great sandwiches and good options of beers and drinks.
