Take a day trip and shop til you drop. A lot of great outlet stores. Top favorites: Eddie Bauer, Lululemon, Fossil, Nike, Coach, GAP, Michael Kors, Lucky, Sunglass Hut, American Eagle, Victoria Secret, Sperry, Ralph Lauren, The North Face and Columbia. Few dining options there. Get a better meal and experience by Stopping at Gruene Gristmill or any other Gruene restaurants.
