My favorite coffeeshop in town. There is seating downstairs and wifi and the best lattes.
Completely different atmosphere from Mad Hatters or Cocoa Cinnamon. Good coffee, wifi, more Duke Student crowd. Has a new name--Market Street.
My favorite coffee shop, local/family owned, not super close by though, near Southpoint Mall if you're headed that way.
The space is relaxed, their coffee is awesome. One of our favorite spots to grab a delicious slice of pie.
“The ATT extends uninterrupted from Durham more than 22 miles south through Chatham County to its southern terminus in Wake County. Trail connections are becoming available to make the ATT part of a 75-mile greenway network throughout the Triangle region. For example, at the ATT’s southern end, the Black Creek Greenway and White Oak Creek Greenway extend into Cary, Apex, and Morrisville, where travelers can stop to get a bite to eat or check out local shopping and entertainment opportunities. These trails are also part of the East Coast Greenway, a growing trail network stretching from Maine to Florida.”
“If you find yourself with a rumbling tummy on this side of town, check out City Beverage. They serve inventive and delicious meals, and have a wide array of beers to choose from.”
“Their baked goods are amazing and the staff is friendly! You can even pay it forward by purchasing a treat for someone to enjoy in the future and leaving a personal message. The space is small but cute.”
“A Durham institution! Vendors include local creameries (Boxcarr, Celebrity Dairy, Chapel Hill Creamery), myriad farms (Harland Creek is my fave), Mead and Cider purveyors, fresh flowers, and delicious local and organic meats, poultry, and eggs (be sure to check out Fickle Creek Farm for odd cuts). Open Wednesday from 3pm-6pm and Saturday mornings from 8am-noon. ”
