It is known as one of America’s best zoos because of providing individuals, families and groups with a common place to connect with and learn about the world’s wildlife and wild places for more than four decades. Also, the Riverbanks Botanical Garden blooms year-round with more than 4,300 species of native and exotic plants.

This was, hands down, our favorite place in Columbia to go with the kids. They really go all out at Halloween and Christmas with lights in the park as well. The botanical gardens are worth the additional fee too!
