This Farm-to-Table restaurant may be small but when it comes to food, they think big. Their lunch menu is unique with a mouthwatering dish for everyone to try. Seasonal changing menu. Amazingly fresh / organic ingredients. Unique dishes emphasizing true Western Canadian cuisine.
One of our favourite restaurants. Based on farm-to-table principles, serves lots of locally sourced food. You absolutely have to try the canned tuna (trust us on this one).
“This great little spot is definitely a neighbourhood draw and is always buzzing with a diverse crowd. The Oakwood is known for its "all-Canadian" poutine, gourmet burgers and its décor - rustic Canadiana – wood, bleached antlers, lots of craft beer. Chef, Mike Robbins sources thoughtfully, he buys Ocean Wise seafood and local or Canadian meat and poultry. My recommendations are the burgers the warm kale salad and the poutine. If your looking for a cozy upscale casual spot in the neighbourhood I would check out Oakwood Canadian Bistro. ”
