Blurs the lines between a bar and a club, Canterbury's newest venue. Canterbury has a very lively pub/bar/club scene, thanks in part to the huge student population. Many pubs are owned by Shepherd Neame the oldest brewery in the UK based at brewery in nearby Faversham. Its pubs mostly sell its own beer brands. Others are independent or owned by various national pub companies. Many serve food: most pubs close by midnight. Canterbury has a great late night bars/nightclub scene, with most establishments having licences to remain open until 02:00 or 03:00am. Nightclubs can be open as late as 6am on some nights.
