Great place for a walk in the woods. Lots of easy trails. Ranger station and gift shop.

Saved from development is now a nice way to escape to the Forest. See my photo for a suggested 2.5 mile walk. Can be very muddy in winter. Dogs allowed on leash.

“Pretty much forgotten park but a nice place to go for a city hike. The trails are essentially unmarked, same with any parking, so you could get lost, but no worries, just aim downhill and you'll find the river eventually.”
