Rent a kajak or motorboat here and visit Wroclaw from the Odra river. I really recommend it! If you want to take the kajak or boat out to the center you are allowed to use the lock system, which is a huge highlight in of itself :) Ask the people renting out the equipment, it costs like 7,52 PLN (no joke) for them to open the lock for you.

So elaborate are the Odra waterways around Wrocław's Old Town that this outfit offers an array of river routes from four different harbours aboard five different vessels (operating until the end of September). 40-50 minute panoramic river cruises are available leaving from the Przystań Cypel harbour on Słodowa Island, Przystań Kardynalska on Piasek Island, Przystań Zwierzyniecka (ul. Wróblewskiego 1), and the Wrocław Zoo for the reasonable rate of 15-25zł; note that a minimum of 10-15 people are required to cast off. All vessels are also available for private hire with prices negotiated by phone. Kayaks, canoes and other small boats are also available to rent.
