This is a must see in the spring and summer. Bring a picnic and a camera. Enjoy a stroll along the Willamette river park and see the location where Eugene F. Skinner built his first cabin. From this side of the butte there is a perfect hike with an eagles nest about 3/4 of the way up the butte.

Located next to the River Walk along the Willamette (rhymes with "damn it") River. A beautiful place for a picnic or a saunter through a vast array of rose varieties. If you're lucky (and here in June) most likely you could get photo bombed into a wedding in the Gazebo.
