One of my 3 favorite breakfast places. It is family owned. They serve great, affordable food. I like the scramble. The fresh baked coffee cake is delicious. substitute the toast for a pancake.
Come for the local vibe, stay for the great food! Famous for their enormous coffee cake, this is the best breakfast in the area! The cafe is decorated with lots of surfing memorabilia, the staff is very friendly, and you can even bring your fur babies in for a bite! =)
Located in South Oceanside. Go here for breakfast or lunch and then enjoy the Oceanside Pier and beaches nearby. Open until 2pm daily.
“Walk down to the street corner for this highly rated pub & restaurant featuring organic, local and sustainable dishes.”
“THE W&R TEAM STRIVES TO PROVIDE A UNIQUE DINING EXPERIENCE THAT IS CASUAL AND ACCESSIBLE WHILE ALSO EXCITING AND CONSTANTLY EVOLVING. WE TAKE PRIDE IN OFFERING LOCALLY AND RESPONSIBLY SOURCED INGREDIENTS, AND SPECIAL CARE IS TAKEN TO MINIMIZE WASTE. WE OFFER A VARIETY OF OPTIONS RANGING FROM ROLLS AND NIGIRI TO ELABORATE SASHIMI PLATES AND AN UNCONVENTIONAL OMAKASE. OUR VEGETABLES ARE GIVEN THE SAME RESPECT WE SHOW TO FISH, AND WE ARE VERY VEGAN FRIENDLY. ”
“Great Whiskey Bar and Microbrewery. Also has great food and neat atmosphere.”
“Finally, hang out with locals at The Privateer Marketplace & Wine Bar in the thriving neighborhood of South Oceanside. An exposed industrial ceiling, black concrete flooring and white washed walls contribute to the casual modern vibe of this hip spot. Design your own flight from the nice selection of largely California wines. Bring an appetite to savor artisan sandwiches, seasonal salads, tantalizing desserts or even a float from the float bar. Plus you can order scrumptious pies from the adjacent, jointly owned The Privateer Coal Fire Pizza”
“Mix a local family owned restaurant and two culinary chef’s with a passion for making creative pies using only the freshest ingredients and you will have the Privateer Coal Fire Pizza. Add in an ice cold beer or a glass of wine and you have one tasty and unique dining experience on your hands.”
