This place has great food and a homey atmosphere, which makes it my favourite brunch spot.
This is one of the best breakfast places ever! Nationally recognized by THe Goble & Mail as one of Canada's best Breakfast restaurants This might just be my favorite restaurant in the exchange ... nevermind in Winnipeg. When Clementines first opened we walked into it not expecting much but boy…
A quaint breakfast place open 7am-3pm, there is usually a wait there but so worth it. They serve creative brunch with a menu that changes often with a few staples, plus breakfast cocktails.
“So much seeing area, to take you laptop and do some work or hangout with friends. They serve, food, coffee and cocktails...bus friendly location.”
“Since Deer + Almond opened in 2012, it has gained a strong following of diners that swear by their eclectic lunch and dinner menus. The restaurant is a loud and bustling hotspot and has appeared on many best-of lists thanks to creative dishes like Korean fried chicken and smoked lamb ragout. The cocktails, too, are well above average. We recommend tippling on the tree planters punch or the refreshing basil smash. I went here with friends and we loved there tapas-style dining it made it perfect for sharing and getting to try a bit of everything which you will definitely want to do. The atmosphere and the ever-changing menu make it the perfect place to go out for a night.”
“Amazing architecture and lots to see! Great place to visit while spending a day at the Forks!”
“The old warehouse district in the heart of the city is now a growing centre of Winnipeg's night life. In addition to many good restaurants and bars, it is the heart of much of Winnipeg's performing arts. The are really comes alive during the summer Festival season. Winnipeg's Jazz Festival and Fringe Festival are particularly popular and fill the streets of the Exchange District with visitors and locals alike. ”
