Much closer to Bowness on Solway than Wigton, great for seeing wildlife and walking

Only 45 minute walk from Bank cottage, Campfield Marsh is on the shores of the Solway Firth. This rich area provides homes for a variety of native wildlife, including ducks and geese in the winter and breeding waders, dragonflies and peat bog plants in spring and summer. Great area for walks and cycling (nice and flat :)
