For An real adventure and If you have the Right Vehicle, If you want to see a 360 View . Drive, off road drive, Walking up the stairs to the lookout . This is something a lot of people Don't even know about. Check out the website and you can look at the webcam at present moment.

Awesome local hike, not many tourists venture here. It’s a steep Hike but you can pace yourself for the hour hike (mostly uphill) to the top, where you will be greeted by an employee of the Forrest service. She is there Constantly checking for lightning strikes,which she reports for fire prevention. She is always kind and will teach you about the area and her job. It’s one of the highest peaks in the Sierra mountain range Thus perfect location to see amazing views. If you have seen the movie “Lord of the rings“ it looks great deal like the steep mountains in the movie. It’s my favorite hike.
