We often stop here for lunch on our way to or from Nanyuki - the restaurant is set in a huge fig tree with the trout 'pools' at the bottom - there is a little playground. The food menu is limited and service not that fast, but if you're not in a hurry it's a great place to stop.

You can eat fresh or smoked trout from the trout farm, on a platform in a huge tree. There is always a troop of Colobus Monkeys and curious Hyraxes to keep children entertained.

Fresh trout from their fish farm in the same compound. You can do a tour to see how they farm and catch your fish :)
