Great location! In the old building Cà Giustinian, institutional head office of the Biennale. Off the beaten track but so close to San Marco Square. Beautiful modern dining room and wonderful terrace facing the Gran Canal view to Punta della Dogana. Good cousine and selection of wines. Medium prices

Facing the Gran Canal, Ombra del Leon (not Leone, just Leon, in Venetian dialect) is a great place for easy meals and drinks. You can sit outside with a lovely view or inside, on very confortable armchairs made in velvet by hand. Immaculate clean, carried by a Venetian Family, good friends of mine, you will feel like a piece of their family, I fall in love with the mother of the owner and besides all types of food and drinks and coffee, I like the restrooms all made in black marble, very modern and so unique in such an antique Town.

You can stop for lunch or dinner or just to drink an aperitif ... what will take your breath away is the terrace on the Grand Canal in front of the Basiica della Salute and the prices that contrary to what you imagine are absolutely not expensive. Highly recommended!

LUNCH! Situated at Palazzo Giustinian’s ground floor. The headquarters of the Fondazione Biennale. It’s easy, good, fast and non expensive! The best non expensive terrace in the San Marco area, or maybe in entire Venice
