Clear fresh water. We find this cenote to be less crowded so the water is clearer! Be sure to take your snorkel mask, towel and a water bottle. Remember not to wear lotions, deodorants, bug sprays or sunscreen as is damages the eco system. Even reef safe is not safe for cenotes. There is plenty of shade areas.

This cenote is just 20 minutes away from Playa del Carmen. Be careful, the owner closes on Saturdays. The entrance costs around $8 usd per person. Don't bring sunblock as you can damage the water and the ecosystem. You can rent the snorkeling equipment there, but you can bring your own as well!

Cenotes are an amazing part of our eco system in the Riviera Maya and something that will make your vacation here special. Since many people want to visit one when in the area we recommend this cenote because it is only about 15 minutes of Casa Aventura and you can arrive by colectivo or by private car. It is also beautiful, not overrun with tourist and affordable to enter.
