Ashland Food Co-op
Since 1971, the Ashland Food Co-op has been helping people feed their families on a budget. As a member of National Co+op Grocers (NCG), we’ve leveraged our collective buying power to offer lower prices on healthy, organic food and pass even more savings on to you.
Closest grocery to the farm, a bit pricey depending on the item, but great selection of locally-sourced produce and prepared items.
Locally owned grocery featuring large selection of organic and locally sourced products. Also features sandwich/salad cafe
“The best spot on the plaza for a coffee or an ice cream cone (they make their own icecream, omg, yum, try the salted caramel). Also their baked goods are magical.”
“We're spoiled in that we raise much of our own food, love to cook and have friends that do the same... so our standards are high when it comes to paying for restaurant meals, especially expensive ones. Smithfields is my current favorite restaurant in Ashland. It's pricey, "meat-centric" and man, do they know how to prepare animal protein! They also do collard greens well, worthy of any soul-food cook. Most meat is locally sourced, another plus. ”
“This beautifully decorated New-American bar and restaurant is located on the second level of one of the downtown Ashland historic buildings. Their menu is excellent for both cocktails and food. If you choose to sit on the balcony, you get the view of Bear Creek and all the bustle of locals and tourists below. Our go-to when we are in Ashland!”
“Our personal favorite for a great meal or a drink. Wonderful food with exceptional service.”
“Great local restaurant and brewery. They Make fantastic beers right on sight. The Brewery is build in, above, and around the restaurant. Good food, Great Beer!”
