If you REALLY want to see alligators up close and personal this is the place to go!

Wanna see a gator or two....dozen!??! If you are daring, walk along the berm while gators sunbathe at the edge or look down at them from the safety of the boardwalk. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG!!! This trail leads you out to a look out platform on Paynes Prairie where you just might see wild horses and bison!

Want to see giant gators? UPCLOSE? This is the place! Be aware that they can get right on the walking path so if you want to see them from a further distance, try Sweetwater Wetlands Park instead.
