Bishops Peak Trail Head
A hike in SLO that is popular with locals. It takes about an hour to get to the top but there are spectacular views when you get there! A moderately strenuous hike.
“The original San Luis Obispo dive bar. Recently renovated to remove years of pee and sadness from the walls, its now popular among young professionals, Cal poly grads from the 80s and 90s reliving their college days, wedding parties, and fraternity types. Must visit for 21st birthdays (watch out for the Bull Sweat), and for evenings when you feel like drinking massive quantities of $2.50 Bud Lites.”
“ Great food, bar, night scene. Close to Bubblegum Alley. Open until 11 pm.”
“Best dogs you will ever have. Worth every calorie and you can call in your order and pick it up. So good!!”
“There are two locations for this local favorite coffee shop: one by Cal Poly located on Foothill Blvd and another downtown on Garden St. These are both great places to relax, work from your computer, or meet with others. Scout has a beautiful atmosphere with indoor/outdoor seating. They locally roast their own coffee and bake fresh pastries in-house. We recommend the Wilderness latte and the famous Scout cookies.”
