Great beach and place to rent Kayaks or paddle boards. You can see leopard sharks here and they are so cool (harmless)!

This is a great family beach with great waves for surfing. From the Shores, you can also rent kayaks and explore the caves of La Jolla (can also pay for a guided trip).

You can enjoy the preserve and water or go kayaking above the shark grounds and into the caves. Quintessential San Diego experience.
