3rd of the historic Monasteries. Stunning setting in the village of Simat and with beautiful gardens. Part ruined, part restored. Especially worth seeing are the beautifully restored ceilings - entry is free!

A working monastery founded in 1297 by James II of Aragon. It was one of the most important monasteries of the Cistercian order. This ancient Cistercian monastery has been recently restored.

El principal monasterio en tierras valencianas, donde vivieron los papas Borja. Sitio de un valor históico muy alto y una belleza intacta. A 20 minutos de coche.
