LOVE this spot. Get a beer and sit out on the levy to watch the sun go down. So uniquely New Orleans.
If you want to take a walk, I highly recommend strolling over to the levee, taking a left, and walking to 40 Arpent Brewery. The beer is great, and the view of the sunset from the levee can't be beat!
Great local brewery that serves free tastings on Friday between 5-7. Walk there by following the levee down to Arabi
“Okay, yes, the clothes are really only for the well-heeled 20-something, but maybe that's who you are! They have great accessories, too, that you won't find elsewhere. Plus, it's owned by black women!”
“The Roosevelt is a must-see during the holidays. Have a cocktail at one of the bars and take in the Christmas lights. ”
“A speakeasy from New Orleans' version of the Golden Age - try the Sazerac and the Bitter Old Maid.”
