if you still eat meat :-) The Ox is a tiny restuarant in the basement of a beautiful old building on Corn St, Bristol city centre. They have won best steak in Bristol award and I think they came 6th in the UK ! Make sure to book a table - also they do incredible wines and cocktails.
“Independent restaurant with seasonal Italian cooking, superb wines, cured meats and artisan cheeses. Amazing pasta! Very, very popular with locals and visitors alike.”
“This is a fantastic steak grill near St Nick's market. They offer a relatively limited menu and you basically gotta love steak to enjoy it but if you do it's worth a visit. It's suprisingly big all in all but feels like an intimate restaurant because of how it is laid out. They won 'Best Steak' in the Bristol Good Food Awards this year so it's not just us who love it! ”
“Modern European restaurant Imaginative venue for locally sourced fine dining creating butter, bread and cured meat in house.”
“£££- Casa Mia - for a very special occasion. Book a long time in advance. This Michelin Star Restaurant is one of the finest in the UK. If you're a foodie the tasting Menu with wine flight is worth every penny & like taking a trip to the theatre!”
“This is a great place to eat and drink in, the best of Bristol's brewed beer, with many other drinks, good food as well (till 9pm at night), it's a great place to visit. ”
