“Do you enjoy microbreweries? Check out Stone's Throw, which is literally a stone's throw away from the Mills-Davis House. (a couple blocks to the west but on 9th st.). They have a small bar and about three tables, with board games and some outdoor patio seating. You'll love it, because it is like having a beer in a friend's living room.”
“This place is in an old bank. Has a very minimalist appeal to it--everything from decor to the menu. Choose from asian inspired noodle and dumpling dishes. Good for a cheaper or fast dining experience.”
“This popular spot is for all of the fish lovers who fancy shrimp and crawfish and "fish & chips" and whatnot. They have gumbos and burgers and icy cold margaritas, all in a space that has some of the great decorations in town. (If you don't know what a "Big Mouth Billy Bass" is, you'll remember as soon as you walk inside.). This place is loved by locals and tourists alike.”
“The center (2 miles away) contains a museum that details local and state African-American history. They also host excellent traveling exhibits.”
