Bar, music venue, live performances, winery, great bar food/snacks, outside seating area/garden. Great atmosphere. Feel like you're in the middle of old Europe somewhere with old stone/brick walls exposed. A lot of various gigs, acts, dancing and shows going on. Great place to meet up.

There is always something happening at the Butter factory. Be it a movie or a band. Staff are real friendly and the place always has a green feel to it. Whangarei is a 28km drive.
