Nicest “proper pub” in the area, shows sport at the weekends, has a popular quiz on a Thursday nights which is free to enter. Food is typical pub fare (macaroni cheese, burgers etc) and is reasonably priced. Attracts a friendly local crowd.

Only a 5 minute walk from the flat, this is a good pub with a pleasant atmosphere, which serves nice pub grub.
