(About a 12 minute drive from 52 Lakeside) South Hill Park is a Green Flag awarded historic park located south of Bracknell town centre with excellent road and rail links to London. The grounds are open to the public and include landscaped gardens, lakes and woodland, all of which surround a Grade II listed building which is now used as an arts centre. The grounds of South Hill Park have been restored back to their former glory thanks to a £2.3 million grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund and Big Lottery Fund. Take a step back in time and admire original features such as a Yew Walk and Italian Garden in your exploration of the park.

Comedy store, Cinema, theatre and more on site, check the website. The Comedy store books up fast though - it has alsoways been a great night out for us.

South Hill Park is the creative heart of Berkshire, hosting over 300 shows, films & events a year, as well as holding over 250 courses and workshops!

South Hill Park has many features. It is essentially a mansion house set within extensive grounds containing fishing lakes, large fields and walled gardens. Entry is free and there is free parking. The Atrium bar and restaurant is a great place to visit in the summer as the outside seating overlooks the park. The theatre itself tends to host some excellent plays and dance performances as well as music and comedy nights. Performances also include some open-air productions. There is a small cinema which usually shows either older films or movies which are on a limited release - if you want to see independent films, it's worth checking what's on here. South Hill Park also runs a large variety of art, craft and photography courses.
