Wonderful little museum in Springdale. It's free and has a great re-creation of an Ozark homestead. It's near downtown Springdale, which is worth exploring. It is also right off the Arkansas Regional Greenway, the super- bike path that goes from South Fayetteville to Bella Vista.

Only a block from the Mill House Cottage the history of the town once called Shiloh can be explored. See an original settler's cabin, a garden, farm equipment, a barn, farmhouse and lots of pictures, books, artifacts that pertain to the town and area of Shiloh/Springdale located in the fascinating Ozarks.

This is a great place to learn the history of the area and also see the cultural transformations that are happening right now.

Small but mighty, Shilo is an interesting museum dedicated to Ozark history. Many of the buildings are historic as well and have been moved to the site for preservation. Displays change seasonally but there is an ongoing exhibit that I enjoy visiting, and I grew up here!
