Rottingdean - Plenty of buses go there, a delightful old world village on the coast with Kipling’s Gardens and nearby Grange Museum. There is a carpark just as you enter the village.
Lovely place on the beach to go and walk and have fish and chips! Always less busy than Brighton beach and more peaceful!
The adorable fishing village 5 minutes down the coast where Rudyard Kipling grew up makes for a great day out of town.
